about Dr. Allen

I’m Dr. Kimberly Allen, a board-certified pediatrician with clinical expertise in mental and behavioral health. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I provide evidence-based care to children and teenagers.

My clinical approach is shaped by my upbringing in Haiti and education at Columbia University, Brown University, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I pursued additional training in mental health to better support the growing number of children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and learning challenges.

I deliver thoughtful care through a general pediatric lens. By looking at the whole child, I am better positioned to understand and support their needs. I recognize that every child has a unique story, and my assessment considers their medical history, environment, and culture.

To create a space where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered, I emphasize communication and strong relationships. I also collaborate closely with schools, therapists, and specialists.

My passion for pediatric health grows with every patient I encounter. I am continually moved by the children within our care community and remain committed to collaborative care that helps our families thrive.
